Una Voz Unida
Una organización nueva ha nacido en la Iglesia Episcopal, la Coalición de Episcopales Latinos, o CEL, según el acrónimo formado por las iniciales. CEL ha sido creada por un grupo de episcopales liderados por la Reverenda Carmen Guerrero. La nueva coalición pretende abogar, con una voz unida, por los intereses de latino/hispanos episcopales. La primera reunión general de CEL tendrá lugar en Phoenix, Arizona, del 15 al 18 de septiembre del año en curso. Las personas que deseen participar en dicha reunión han de inscribirse cuanto antes.

A United Voice
A new organization has been born in the Episcopal Church, the Coalition of Episcopal Latinos, or CEL, given the acronym formed by its initials. CEL was created by a group of Episcopalians under the leadership of the Reverend Carmen Guerrero. The new coalition will serve to advocate on behalf of the interests of Latino/Hispanic Episcopalians, with a united voice. The first general meeting of CEL will take place in Phoenix, Arizona from the 15th to the 18th of September of this year. Those who desire to participate in that meeting should become members well ahead of that date.

- A united voice to develop formation programs that will equip all members in our Latino Episcopal Churches.

Ofrecemos una red fuerte de colaboración entre el pueblo latino de Estados Unidos, América Latina y el Caribe.

Promovemos oportunidades para desarrollar el liderazgo de laicos/as latinos en la Iglesia Episcopal.

Abogamos a favor de asuntos de justicia e inmigración con una voz unida.

Revisamos y abogamos a favor de las necesidades del clero latino dentro de la Iglesia Episcopal con relacion a salarios, posiciones de liderazgo, educación continuada y beneficios.

Servimos de apoyo al Misionero Oficial del Ministerio Latino/Hispano de la Iglesia Episcopal.
What do We Do?
- We offer a strong network of collaboration among the Latino populations in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
- Promote opportunities for the development of Latino lay leadership in the Episcopal church.
- Advocate in favor of issues of justice and immigration with a united voice
- Review and advocate regarding the needs of Latino clergy in the Episcopal Church in relation to just deployment, continuing education, and benefits.
- Serve as support to the Officer for Latino/Hispanic Ministry at the Episcopal Church Center.
